Fast Lane Learning Center: Skills audit prior to Cisco and NetApp certification

Free online access to assessment tests

25th February, 2009 – The Fast Lane Learning Center is now offering the option of taking various assessment tests in order to assess own skills and knowledge. This allows interested parties to test their abilities on their own prior to taking certification tests. As a Cisco Learning Solutions Partner (CLSP) and the only global NetApp Learning Partner, Fast Lane is initially offering professional assessment tests for a variety of training subjects relating to both manufacturers.

The Fast Lane Learning Center provides interested parties with free access to numerous classification tests. After registering, which is free of charge, the user’s level of knowledge can be tested in relation to certain certifications. There are two specific modes for this – practice mode allows participants to immediately check whether an answer to a question is correct or not. The candidate can practice for as long as desired in this mode until he or she feels confident with the subject. In exam mode, the overall results are also evaluated and a test result is calculated once the exam has been finished, taking into account all the answers given. The knowledge level of the participant can then be derived from this test result.

Continuous expansion of the content in the Learning Center to include further tests and teaching modules is planned. The current selection includes the following assessments for Cisco and NetApp training:

Cisco

!Building Scalable Cisco Internetworks (BSCI)
!Building Cisco Multilayer Switched Networks (BCMSN)
