Le certificazioni del Channel Partner Program sono analoghe ai titoli accademici. Alcune specializzazioni rappresentano un prerequisito per ottenere le certificazioni, mentre altre conferiscono una competenza specialistica su determinate tecnologie.

I livelli di certificazione riflettono l'ampiezza delle competenze tecnologiche
del partner. Più alto è il livello di certificazione, maggiori sono le credenziali
e le risorse necessarie per soddisfare i requisiti. I livelli di specializzazione riflettono il grado di competenza, capacità e assistenza e supporto

I Gold Certified Partner hanno anche integrato il massimo livello di competenza Cisco Lifecycle Services nelle proprie offerte e ottengono un alto livello misurabile di soddisfazione del cliente.

Riconosce i partner con esperienza nella vendita, nella distribuzione e nel supporto di soluzioni integrate Cisco in diversi paesi all'interno di una determinata area geografica Cisco. I partner che ottengono il numero richiesto di certificazioni Silver e Gold in un'area geografica verranno riconosciuti come partner certificati Multinational per tale area. Per qualificarsi, i partner devono avere un contratto di rivendita multinazionale.

Express-level specialization is for partners who want to increase their technical proficiency in the area of foundation networking.
