February 18, 2008 – Cisco Solutions Partner Fast Lane has the Implementing the Application Control Engine Service Module (ACESM) course new in the program replacing the Application Control Engine Operations and Configurations (ACEOC) training, with immediate effect. This special training provides for a professional introduction into the intelligent network services topic based on the Cisco ACE Application Control Engine module for Catalyst 6500 switches.

The training particularly addresses systems engineers and network architects responsible for design and operation of server load-balancing concepts using ACE modules.

In the course of the new seminar, participants will gain insight into the design, use, and optimization of intelligent network services using the Cisco ACE Application Control Engine module for Catalyst 6500 switches. The four-day training covers all important functions of the Cisco ACE 2.0 software including resource virtualization and management, server load-balancing (layer 2 through 4 and layer 7), Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) termination and off-load as well as se¬curity features such as Application-Layer Inspection and fix-ups.
