At the end of the course, you should understand the features and operation of View, View design principles, and ThinApp operation. You should be able to do the following:
- Install and configure View components
- Create and manage dedicated and floating desktop pools
- Deploy and manage linked-clone virtual desktops
- Configure and manage desktops that run in local mode
- Configure secure access to desktops through a public network
- Use ThinApp to package applications
- Describe the major components of the ThinApp architecture
- Modify Package.ini parameters to increase the variety and complexity of applications that can be virtualized
- Use Application Link to dynamically link application components like Microsoft .NET to multiple applications
- Use Application Sync to update applications deployed from servers
- Troubleshoot problems with ThinApp packages
- Identify design goals, requirements, and constraints
